Our History

Geoff Todd Electrical Ltd started life as Todd Electricals in 1973 when the company was originally established by its founder , Geoffrey Todd.

Working from a spare room in his house in Queensbury, previously a Doctor's practice, Geoff built up the business and eventually moved the company out of the house and into the basement of a neighbouring property which had been the pharmacy accompanying the practice.

The business operated for several years from this basement with the company taking on more electricians and employing an office manager to take care of the commercial elements of the business whilst Geoff concentrated on the engineering and contracting.

The company went on to to be incorporated as a Limited Company in 1985 and became an NICEIC Approved Contractor.

Later, Geoff purchased the upper floor of the property which had been a hairdressers and converted this space onto the offices which we still occupy today.

The basement now forms our stores and an extension has been added to the side of the property to accommodate additional equipment, essential to our operations.

The company is proud of it's long history built on quality, reputation and repeat business.
